Every wedding has a story. Someone's outfit doesn't fit, they spilled wine on their dress, or someone forgot where they put the rings. This wedding, had a little different story. About a half an hour before Scott and I were getting ready to head to the wedding, we got a phone call saying Jake was in the ER with possible appendicitis. We did pictures with the girls to pass the time while we waited to hear more about Jake's condition. Towards the end of the pictures we got word that Jake would be able to make it to the wedding, he just might be a little late to the ceremony and a little woozy from all the drugs they gave him. Instantly Evie's eyes lit up!
I am a sucker for love stories. I think that's a big reason why I love shooting weddings so much. Every wedding is a love story. Evie and Jake's was the best one yet!
They both worked hard for that kiss!
These two definitely worked hard to get to this spot!
