Kelsey 3.30.12 {Portraits}

My friend, Jeremiah, is also a photo student as well as taking some business classes.  We see each other often and keep up on each others work.  Earlier this week he asked me if we could go out and shoot together!  Since we are both portrait photographers we got lovely Miss Kelsey to model for us!

After marketing class the three of us headed out around campus and took some awesome shots.

Kelsey, thank you so much for modeling for us! You were amazing!

Rachael 3.26.12 {Portraits}

Rachael is a familiar face on my page, but the other day I realized that I haven't taken pictures of her lately.  Neither of us wanted to work on homework and wanted something to do, so we decided to fight the wind and head out for a shoot.

We stayed in the alley to get a little protection from the wind, but we still got gravel blasted a few times and would end up in the fetal position trying to keep the dirt out of our eyes.

We tried some photos that are a little different from what we usually do.
Check em out!

Emily 3.17.12 {Portraits}

What better to do on St. Patrick's day than to go do a photoshoot of a girl in green!?

This is Miss Emily!  We had been trying to get together for most of my spring break, but due to colds and life we weren't able to finally get together until the weekend.

We went to a local park and walked around, talked, and reenacted movies!

Here are a few shots from our shoot! Enjoy!

Monica 2.15.12

Fans, Meet Monica!!  Isn't she gorgeous!?

Monica and I were roommates last year and with our busy lives we have only been able to see each other a couple times all year.  I met Monica at her house and we got some lunch and did a quick photo session on DU campus!

She was absolutely gorgeous and it was so good to talk to her!

Here are a couple photos from our shoot!!

Spontaneous photoshoot with Brian!

I've been bugging Scott all day about how I wanted to take pictures of someone but we didn't know who.  I saw that Brian was one Facebook and within 30 minutes we were taking pictures in Olde Town Arvada!

Brian is a photographer as well and isn't used to being on the other side of the camera, but I'd say he did pretty well.

Here are a couple shots from our spontaneous session!!

The Downtown Aquarium

Scott and I went to the aquarium and boy did I feel like a little kid.  I don't think it was as much of the "Look at the one mommy' childishness (yes, that's a word) as it was Scott and I having so much fun stealing the camera from each other to take pictures of all the awesome creatures!

I have never been to the aquarium before, I've been to the zoo once, but it was interesting to see all the different fish that can live together.  Being there really made me wish that I had a saltwater aquarium in my kitchen!!

Here are a couple shots from our visit to the aquarium!!

This little guy was so weird looking!!

Somehow this tiger fits in with all these fish..

 NEMO!!

I have never seen a fish like this before! He looks so sad =(

If only Jelly fish couldn't kill me, I would have them as a pet!!

Children's books and movies always make octopus look so much better than they do in real life!

And of course, Scott and I before we left! =)
