A few weeks ago I came home for the weekend and while I was home I was thinking that I hadn't gone out and taken pictures of whatever like I used to. So when it was time for me to drive back to Greeley I unintentionally took a photo trip in the country.

I had decided to take the more 'country drive' back home. It was a beautiful day and the sky was PERFECT for landscape photos. So on my way I couldn't help but pull off to the side of the road about 5 times to take some pictures.

But once I got home and looked at the photos I got, I was happy I did!

Here are a few of the pictures I got.

Hanley Wedding

When I was a freshman in high school Darla was a senior. She had told me one day after looking at my photos, 'I want you to photograph my wedding!'

When Darla contacted me asking to photograph her wedding I was so exited!

Darla and John got married in Vegas on April 17th and had their wedding reception in Peetz the following weekend, which I got to photograph.

Here are a few photos from the wedding and you can view more at www.imagesbyelizabeth.com

Congrats Darla and John!

Lauren and Spencer

My roommate Lauren had asked me to take some portrait photos of her. Since I hadn't taken portrait pictures in a while, I asked if we could take her boyfriend Spencer out with us to take some couple pictures as well.
Even though we set out to take pictures of mostly her, we ended up only taking a few of her and more of her and her boyfriend.

I had so much fun taking pictures of Lauren and Spencer. Thanks guys for being my models!

I love Spencer's eyes in this picture! Both of their eyes really stand out!

Easter 2010

Ever since the beginning of the school year my friend Aurelia has been telling me that she wants to go home with me sometime and see my hometown.

Since she is from California and couldn't fly home for the Easter weekend we decided it would be the perfect chance for her to come home with me.

We went on many adventures: looking at the wind turbines, four wheeler rides, and playing with the sheep and chickens.

Here are a few pictures from Aurelia's weekend in Peetz and the family at Easter

Photos with Miss Darcy

At the end of March my sister flew to Colorado to catch up with some of her friends from college and do some family portraits.

She had asked me to come down for the weekend and stay with her and asked if I wanted to go with her on her shoots as her second photographer.

Here are a few of the shots I got. You can view all of the photos on her website at www.missdarcyphotography.com

Joe is five!

I realized today that I haven't blogged in almost 4 months so I decided it was time for me to do some updating!

Back in March I did my nephews 5 year pictures and it was my first "Oh my gosh I'm old" moment, and I'm only 19!

I still remember the day Joe was born like yesterday, but somehow the days in between seem to be a blur. He's grown up so fast and I can't believe how much he has changed over the years!

One thing that has stayed the same is his love for fire trucks. Even though it wasn't his first word, I'm sure 'fire' is one of his most used words (firetruck, fireman, firefighter, FIRE!)

Joe's dad is a volunteer firefighter and as every little boy does, he wants to be just like him.

When Joe's mom and I were trying to figure out what to do for his pictures she knew we had to incorporate firetrucks in some way.

Here is a preview of Joe's 5 year pictures!

With Easter coming up we had to do some pictures of Joe and his sister Courtney. This picture is one of my favorites of the two of them!
They look so ornery yet cute at the same time! I didn't know it was possible but they sure show it in this picture!
