These are the three days I spent with family and surprisingly I only brought my camera out once while the family was around!


All of  my siblings were home for Christmas so it was really good to be able to spend some time with the whole family together!  Although we didn't get the snow I was hoping for to have a white Christmas, having the whole family together made of for it!

Birthday flowers

My mother's birthday was on December 11th and it was my first day home for Christmas break so I picked her up some flowers for her to enjoy for the next week or so (while she was taking care of me while I was whining and complaining about my teeth, or lack there of, hurting so bad).

When I walked into the kitchen today, I loved the way the light was coming through the window and shining on her week and a half old birthday flowers =)

Photoshoot with Amanda

Scott, Amanda, and I went out to do some pictures today.  A little bit of nature photography mixed with a lot of people photos (mostly pictures of Amanda).  It was snowing the whole time during our shoot which looked awesome in the pictures but made for a VERY cold shoot.  Amanda and I got frozen fingers and toes a lot sooner than I had hoped.  The shoot was so much fun but I felt like my toes had fallen off!

I got a new lens the other day, so just before the sun went down, Scott and I decided to go take a couple pictures to try out the lens.  He was also wearing the new shirts I got him for Christmas =)

Since Scott and I won't be seeing each other for a while, we decided to do our Christmas a week early.  One of the presents he got me was this ring.  I had been wearing one before but Scott got me my own ring, for our second Christmas together.  I also took this picture using a new piece of lighting equipment that he bought me!

Family shoot with the Nelson's

Today I took my boyfriend Scott's family out for a photoshoot in Golden. Over the past year + they have done so much for me and I decided that since they haven't had a family photo taken in almost 4 years I would treat them to a family photo shoot, on the house! It was great to photograph them as well as to just spend time with them since I haven't seen them much lately due to my busy schedule!

Photoshoot with 303 roommates

It has been one crazy year this year and I have hardly had enough time to breathe, let alone spend time with friends! The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, my roommates from last year and I decided to get together for a photoshoot and hang out. It was so good to see them all together! I hung out with each one individually at the beginning of the semester but I've hardly seen them until Tuesday!
