Rocky Balbetta!

Finally I am back on track and up to date with my blog! After two months of inactivity I decided it was time to catch my followers up with my photos! What better way to say a job well done than with a beautiful fish like Rocky Balbetta?! Rocky is my roommates pet Betta fish who I feel as though I have neglected over the past two weeks!
I was walking around my room cleaning up my odds and ends when I realized he was looking right at me, and of course with the eye of a photographer, my first instinct was to grab my camera!
Here are a few shots of Rocky!

Maddy Turns one!

Cindy contacted me several months ago asking me to do Maddy's one year portraits and I had been looking forward to it for about 2 months! Cindy, Matt, and Maddy were my first clients that I did not already know and I was so excited to photograph their family!
The morning of our shoot Cindy called me and said Maddy was sick with a fever and probably wouldn't be very happy for pictures so we decided to reschedule for the next day. Even though Maddy was still a little sick she was a trooper!

Here are a few pictures from our day!

Kali's Senior pictures!

I can't believe Kali is a senior! I still remember when her class was in the fourth grade with only four kids in their class! I guess I expect people younger than me to stop growing, even when I continue to grow!
Kali and I decided to do her pictures out in the canyons near Peetz as well as do some sports pictures in the school.
Here is a preview of her photos.

Leigh and Craig

Oh My Gosh I LOVED Leigh's dress! I know it may not be a style that would be flattering on me but it was GORGEOUS!
Leigh and Craig are the first wedding I have photographed in over a year that was in a church and it felt like it had been 20 years since I'd photographed in a church!
Here are a few photos from the day!

Photo Essay!

As part of my internship at the Greeley Tribune I had to do a photo essay that would be on the front cover of the life section in the Sunday paper. My boss gave me the idea of going to the Pawnee National Grasslands and getting some shots out there. Since I hadn't been out in the country for a while I decided it would be a good idea to escape the city scene.

April and Brett

April and Brett had a gorgeous mountain wedding in July in Green Mountain Falls.
Their wedding was at the local attraction, the lake gazebo, and it was a beautiful place to have a wedding! We had a little trouble with rain in the morning but come wedding time it was gorgeous as could be!
Here are a few shots from the day!

Julie and Roger

Technical difficulties resolved!
I've been trying to upload pictures from Julie and Roger's wedding for a while now and finally got them online!
Julie and Roger got married back in July and had a lovely outdoor wedding!
Julie's bridal party is the first one I have photographed with the same style of dress in different colors and I loved it!
Here are a few pictures from the day!

Photos with Rachael

It's official, I'm horrible at keeping up on my blog! I did pictures with Rachael back in the beginning of July and here it is, September, and I'm FINALLY getting them online!
Rachael and I were bored one night and decided to make a trip to the park and take some pictures.
It took Rachael a while to get warmed up to the camera, but once she did we got some awesome shots! The sun was great and made Rachael's green eyes POP!
Here are a few pictures from our trip!
